"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I just had dinner at Time Out Mediterranean Cuisine in Playa del Rey, and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the BBQ Plate for Two ($55), and it was easily one of the best Mediterranean meals we’ve had in LA. The portion size was incredibly generous — it came with a fresh, flavorful fattoush salad (we couldn’t resist eating some before the photo!), a creamy and perfectly seasoned hummus with a drizzle of olive oil, warm pita bread that was both crispy and soft, and a full plate of perfectly seasoned fries that were crispy and hot. The highlight was the massive BBQ platter — a variety of tender, juicy grilled meats, fragrant rice, roasted vegetables, and onions dusted with sumac for that authentic touch. Everything was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were genuinely warm and welcoming. It’s clear they take pride in their food and care deeply about their customers. We also had the baklava desert that the owner made fresh that day and it was absolutely delicious, I usually don't like baklava because it's too sweet but this one was perfect. This is exactly the kind of local gem Playa del Rey needs — authentic, generous, and full of heart. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for real Mediterranean flavor."

"We just came here for the first time and absolutely loved our experience!! No frills, just delicious Lebanese food (and as a Lebanese myself, I have pretty high standards for the cuisine). Service was great, the chicken and kofta kababs were delicious and the portions were very generous! We both love to eat and were stuffed after just getting one chicken kabob plate and one kofta plate, especially since they both came with a great fattoush salad, hummus, rice, and plenty of bread. We even got to taste their baklava at the end, and that was very yummy too!! Would definitely recommend you try it out!!! Thank you for the wonderful meal :)"

"Stopped here after a beach walk and it was a great find. The filet mignon wrap was incredibly fresh and flavorful—everything was perfectly cooked. The fries were crunchy and delicious, and the staff was very friendly. Small, clean spot with excellent Lebanese food. Highly recommend!"

"We visited Timeout Lebanese Cuisine yesterday and absolutely loved our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner, who was incredibly kind and even turned on a heater to make sure we were comfortable while dining outside ~ such a thoughtful gesture! Every single dish we ordered was delicious and full of authentic Lebanese flavor. We started with the falafel , which was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside ~ easily some of the best we’ve had. The pickles and hummus were fantastic as well ~the hummus was so fluffy, creamy, and flavorful that we couldn’t stop eating it. The Fattoush salad was refreshing and balanced beautifully with the tangy dressing, and the grilled chicken with garlic sauce was simply mouthwatering ~tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Overall, everything tasted homemade, fresh, and prepared with love. The cozy atmosphere, authentic food, and genuine hospitality made it a truly memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back soon ~highly recommend this gem to anyone who enjoys real Lebanese cuisine!"

"We stopped here to get dinner to go on a Sunday evening. We ordered the Grill dinner for two so we could try a little bit of everything. The chicken kabobs were my favorite, tender and very flavorful. All of the food was delicious and fresh. It was a ton of food, we got two meals each out of it! They even gave us complimentary stuffed grape leaves while we waited. Highly recommend!"
